Korean sleeping packs. How to choose one?

If the product has Sleeping Pack, Overnight Mask or Night Mask in the name, then it’s an overnight.

What is an Sleeping Pack?
These masks are meant for intensive care during the night. They are easy to use, don’t take a lot of time, help keep the skin ideally hydrated while you are asleep. Unlike night creams, masks are used only 1-2 times a week. (more…)

My Winter Korean Care

My Winter Korean Care

The calendar summer is coming to an end, which can’t be said about our real summer. But it’s time to gather products to fight pigmentation. For this purpose, I will go over my last winter and my experiences in that matter. So, winter came and brought with her the cold and the heating units. The main problem became overdried combination skin, suffering from dehydration. After 4 months of symbiosis with certain products, I had to completely re-think my multistep skin care. (more…)

Playing house or experimenting on the kid.
And so my and the kid’s experiment has concluded. The main goal for the mom was to “cover up with the concealer” the fact that she didn’t teach her own offspring how to take proper care of the face. For the kid the goal was to receive a whole set of skincare products, which is also occasionally restocked with new items.
For one month, Alisa used the regimen of multi-step Korean skincare that I had selected for her. (more…)

Two Korean Peeling Gels – Comparison

Salicylic Acid in Korean Cosmetic

Salicylic Acid in Korean Cosmetic

I’m currently using three products with BHA from Korean manufacturers. I thought that’s not a bad reason to talk about this wonderful ingredient.
So, what is it? It’s an acid (surprise surprise) which can reach deep into the pores and regulate sebum production. (more…)

Skin Republic Sheet Mask Lineup

Skin Republic is a Korean brand that is already well known in European countries. I buy their sheet masks at a pharmacy in the middle of nowhere in Finland. Ok, it’s not Europe, but not exactly Asia either.

Korean Cosmetics After 60

Korean Cosmetics After 60

A huge brag from my mom!
Three months ago I put together Korean skincare regimen for my mom, and now she sends me daily selfies and says she gets younger every day.

About her: 61 years old, aging skin prone to dryness and pigmentation.
Before – Nivea cream morning and nights and complete neglect of sun protection.

Now – uses all steps of Korean skincare daily (I made her cheat sheets for morning and evening routines).
In two months, the skin became refreshed, hydrated and visibly lighter. (more…)
