Two Korean Peeling Gels – Comparison

Two Korean Peeling Gels – Comparison

I have a favorite peeling gel from Korean brand The Face Shop with papaya enzymes. Smart Peeling Milk Papaya Peeling cleanses the skin very gently, without causing any irritation or bad reactions. It smells very nice. A fruity fresh scent with a sour note. (more…)

Purito Serums review

Purito Serums review

I finished off two of my Japanese serums – with vitamin C and hyaluronic acid – and immediately found a replacement, several times cheaper, but with no sacrifices in quality.
I have tested samples of these serums a long time ago and was so pleased that I decided to buy the full sizes. (more…)

Natural Korean Makeup

Natural Korean Makeup

There’s a time and place for everything. The time to cleanse and remove makeup, and the time to transform.
Today is a story about eyebrow pencil, lash lengthener and mascara. A very easy and natural makeup. It’s as if it weren’t there, and yet it’s there. (more…)

Salicylic Acid in Korean Cosmetic

Salicylic Acid in Korean Cosmetic

I’m currently using three products with BHA from Korean manufacturers. I thought that’s not a bad reason to talk about this wonderful ingredient.
So, what is it? It’s an acid (surprise surprise) which can reach deep into the pores and regulate sebum production. (more…)

Morning and Evening Routines for Sensitive Skin

And then I realized that I’m a maniac 🙂
I’ve been planning to post about my morning and evening routines for a long time.
I hope that my attempt to systematize all of my korean tricks will be successful and I’ll piece this puzzle together 🙂 (more…)

Dr.Jart+ Dermask Laugh Line Lift™ and the entire lifting patch line

Dr.Jart+ Dermask Laugh Line Lift™ and the entire lifting patch line

These are patented nasolabial patches from the famous Korean brand Dr.Jart+.
I’ve heard good quality praising reviews about this brand’s patches for a long time, but haven’t used them until recently.
Too bad. This is the second type of nasolabial patches (out of a huge variety) that work well for my skin. I’ll post a separate review about the first type.
This line has lifting patches for:
– Eyes
– Double chin
– Nasolabial folds
This line also has blackhead removal patches. (more…)

Skin Republic Sheet Mask Lineup

Skin Republic Sheet Mask Lineup

Skin Republic is a Korean brand that is already well known in European countries. I buy their sheet masks at a pharmacy in the middle of nowhere in Finland. Ok, it’s not Europe, but not exactly Asia either.
Skin Republic combines the latest technological advances in the skincare field with natural regenerating ingredients. It provides great sheet masks for face, eyes, neck and decolletage, and also hands and feet. (more…)

Korean Cosmetics After 60

Korean Cosmetics After 60

A huge brag from my mom!
Three months ago I put together Korean skincare regimen for my mom, and now she sends me daily selfies and says she gets younger every day.

About her: 61 years old, aging skin prone to dryness and pigmentation.
Before – Nivea cream morning and nights and complete neglect of sun protection.

Now – uses all steps of Korean skincare daily (I made her cheat sheets for morning and evening routines).
In two months, the skin became refreshed, hydrated and visibly lighter. (more…)

Korean skincare for teenagers

Korean skincare for teenagers

What should be chosen for delicate, sensitive, acne and inflammation-prone teenage skin?
Let’s attempt to discuss that.
First of all, I want to warn you that even if you buy lots of good treatments, there is no guarantee that the child will immediately agree to use any of them. Have patience, don’t force it, don’t bring attention to the imperfections. Perhaps, the teen doesn’t see and doesn’t notice them, and you can create a new issue for him, make him think about his imperfections, and introduce a new inferiority complex. Be sensitive and careful with the feelings of your children. (more…)

The winning hamster or why it’s hard to be a woman

The winning hamster or why it’s hard to be a woman

My turn has come to share my Odyssey. Let’s start with the source data: 38 year old combination skin, which didn’t know that creams existed until 35… As the result, we have what we have: crow’s feet around the eyes, uneven and unhealthy skin tone, post acne spots from years of periodic breakouts, scars from the same thing, forehead wrinkles and nasolabial folds, making the whole face look like a pug on bad days, without the cuteness factor. Woof, this feels like a confession. (more…)
