Hanskin Bio prism brightening alfa serum review
Hello again! Today we will talk about a pressing problem – whitening and skin tone improvement.
Since I noticed the beginnings of pigmentation spots, my purchases have shifted toward whitening products. One of them is Hanskin Bio prism brightening alfa serum.

I read about it from the famous Charlotte Cho, it’s sold in her store but for an unreal price. Of course, I went on eBay looking for a more reasonable offer. And this seller has it for the most affordable price. At first I was afraid that the expiration date will be fast approaching, but to my surprise it was fine. So I’m using it happily.
First of all, it’s pretty! The bottle contains liquid with floating capsules of a different texture. Before use, the serum needs to be shaken to mix up both products – after several shakes, the capsules group together and the serum becomes the classic two phased one.

Second of all, the product has a pleasant ingredients list. This whitening treatment is plant extract based and can be used all year. One of the phases uses alcohol as a thinner, but it’s in a binded state and has no smell – I feel no negative effects on the skin.

What are the active components?
Of course, our favorite niacinamide, which has odes sung about it. It’s an antioxidant, a whitening agent, anti-aging and anti-acne. It’s a jack of all trades and Koreans use it often.
It’s followed by birch sap, which also combats pigmentation, improves local immunity of the skin, regulates sebum production.
The serum contains GigaWhite, which is a patented mix of sevel plan extracts (certified by Ecocert). The manufacturer claims that it’s a plant equivalent of hydroquinone (which is banned for use in home cosmetics in many countries). Testing showed that the complex fights pigmentation spots and dull complexion, suppresses melanin production and melanosome ripening and prevents melanin migration to the upper layers of the skin (melanin is what causes the nasty brown spots). For those interested, I’m including the ingredients: Glycerin, Water (aqua), Malva Sylvestris (Mallow) Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Leaf Extract, Primula Veris Extract, Alchemilla Vulgaris Extract, Veronica Officinalis Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract, Melissa Officinalis Leaf Extract, Achillea Millefolium Extract
Another interesting component is the extract of Murciana dubious, also known as kamu-kama. This fruit / berry contains 60 times more vitamin C than lemon, along with other vitamins, micro- and macronutrients. The extract improves complexion, strengthens the vessels, increases the elasticity of the skin, moisturizes.
The serum comes in a sizable bottle (100ml) with a pump. Like I said above, the product is two phased and needs to be shaken before use. It’s reminiscent of slightly oily water in texture. The serum is easy to apply, it spreads well and absorbs quickly.
If you look for reviews, you’ll see that many like it. People say that they have seen a significant reduction in pigmentation spots. Mine are still in early stages, they are hard to see (so you won’t get photo evidence), but after three weeks of use I can’t find them at any angle or light. And that’s after just coming back from a beach vacation. Beach twice a day, heat (and we all know that pigmentation spots become brighter in high temperature). It goes without saying that I use sunscreen to avoid exacerbating sun damage, but one cannot undo the sins of childhood and youth.
Overall, I’m very pleased by this serum. Everything about it is great – appearance, texture, ingredients, large size, effectiveness. It will suit any skin type, mine is combination with an oily t-zone and somewhat dry cheeks.
