Korean sleeping packs. How to choose one?

If the product has Sleeping Pack, Overnight Mask or Night Mask in the name, then it’s an overnight.

What is an Sleeping Pack?
These masks are meant for intensive care during the night. They are easy to use, don’t take a lot of time, help keep the skin ideally hydrated while you are asleep. Unlike night creams, masks are used only 1-2 times a week.

How to use Sleeping Pack?
Half an hour before bed, cleanse the skin and apply your regular skincare routine (toner, essence, serum, etc.)
Apply a thin layer of the mask on the face and neck, let it absorb. Wash off in the morning.

How to choose?
There’s a million Korean sleeping masks, almost every Korean brand has one.
The masks are very different in the effect, consistency and feeling. There’s no specific categorization. But I will try 🙂 I chose a few popular masks with good reviews to use as examples.

Gel and collagen overnight masks

If you look sleep deprived, tired, and have a wrinkled face in the morning – try these masks.

These hydrating sleeping packs form a protective film on the skin and don’t let moisture evaporate. It’s best to apply toner and serum before using these masks to ensure they work their best.

It’s quite hard to find a hydrating overnight mask for oily or troubled skin. Masks that are too rich can provoke inflammation.
