Nasolabial Patch Alternatives

Is it worth it to buy special patches for the nasolabial zone? Today, we will compare three types of patches: nasolabial mustache and two types of eye patches (hydrogel and fabric with collagen).
The regular hydrogel or fabric patch masks for the eye zone also hydrate the nasolabial region well. Nasolabial folds smooth out due to deep hydration. The visual effect from these masks lasts several hours.

Three types of patches

The first are fairly popular mustache-shaped hydrogel patches Mr. Simple Patch from the Korean brand Tony Moly. They work, hydrate well, the nasolabials are less apparent, but they are uncomfortable to use. The funny mustache sadly droop after a few seconds, and you have to adjust them constantly. You can use them only lying down. They do not adhere well. Price is $2.50 for two on eBay and Amazon.
Contain intensive hydrating and nourishing components, such as extracts of blueberry, black soy, and hydrolyzed collagen.

The second ones are hydrogel hydrating masks with gold and grape seed extracts.
Gangbly C Complex Gold Hydrogel Eye Patch.
For nutrition and regeneration. Visually smooth out wrinkles and fine lines. The jar contains 60 patches. eBay Amazon
I use them for the nasolabials as well. Thin, good shape, adhere closely to the skin. Best if used while lying down. Lie back and relax for 20 minutes; they do not slide off. I like hydrogel patches, even though they do not stick to the skin as well, because they take much longer to dry and do not tighten on the skin.
After the application, the hydrogel slowly melts, and the active ingredients get fully absorbed, reaching the deepest layers of the skin.

And the last collagen sheet masks for the are area are Purederm Collagen Eye Zone Mask.
Patches with marine collagen for the sensitive skin around the eyes. The price is around $3, the package contains 30 patches. Great combination of price and quality. You can order them on  еВау and Amazon
Can be used in the nasolabial zone and between the eyebrows.
Very comfortable patches, you can stick them on and continue with your day. They do not slide off, hydrate and smooth out wrinkles well. The effect is cumulative.

You can see in the picture that the TonyMoly mustache is about five times thicker, which might be why they are so hard to use.

The shape of the mustache is interesting, but not very functional.

I won’t order special nasolabial patches anymore. If you have eye patches, you can go ahead and use them with confidence.
