A kitty beauty box “Milli and Casper”

A kitty beauty box “Milli and Casper”

A new month is here, meaning a new beauty box is ready for my kid.

For those of you who doesn’t know about our tradition – to avoid throwing away countless unneeded bottles and testers from existing beauty boxes, I put together my own beauty box for my kid. (more…)

Purito Snail Clearing BB Cream review

Purito Snail Clearing BB Cream review

It all started with a sample, as usual. Curse the samples!
Before that, bb creams were just another mystery to me. I haven’t used foundation in years – I didn’t like the stuff I tried as a teenager, and by the time my teenage breakouts cleared, powder was sufficient. But, as the saying goes, there is no limit to perfection. (more…)

Korean Rose Masks

Korean Rose Masks

I use sheet masks every day and love variety. I cannot imaging a full skincare routine for aging skin without sheet masks – it’s an effective daily hydration boost with various other bonuses.
I also love cosmetics containing rose. I usually arrange my masks in a strict order, but often pick out ones with this component “out of order”. Here are three great rose masks from well known brands that I’ve been familiar with for a long time. (more…)

Phyto Tree Watermelon Cleansing Bubble Foam Cleanser review

Phyto Tree Watermelon Cleansing Bubble Foam Cleanser review

I am 28, have combination skin, freckles, and one forehead wrinkle (yes, one).

I bought this cleanser for two important reasons – a pretty packaging and a good discount on eopenmarket.com (but their shipping isn’t free). You can buy this on eBay or Amazon.
I must have been craving summer and watermelons. (more…)

Hydrating Toners

Hydrating Toners

Today, let’s talk about hydration. The subject is, of course, very broad, but we will not ramble on.
Let’s start with the fact that water enters skin from within. Because the skin is well protected by its outer layer and lipid barrier, it is quite difficult to penetrate it with moisture from the outside. Our skin loses moisture under the effects of the environment.
In a healthy, young person, up to ⅓ of the epidermis is made up of water. This level of hydration results in great appearance of skin, quick healing of any injuries, and absence of hypersensitivity. (more…)

A Delicious Korean Menu for Our Skin

A Delicious Korean Menu for Our Skin

The beauty secrets of Korean and Japanese beauties haven’t been so secret to us for a long time. We all know that the reasons for their beauty and youth are not the mysterious “asian genes”, but dietary habits and an excellent skincare routine. So I asked myself – what parts of Korean menu can we find not in a restaurant, but on a sheet mask shelf? (more…)

My Favorite Korean Sunscreens

My Favorite Korean Sunscreens

So, Korean tricksters, did you think that the summer is ending so it’s time to put away all the sunscreen tubes until next summer?
Think again.
First of all, there are ladies who live in the countries where winter is as far as the Chinese border.
Second of all, fall and winter are important seasons for skin rejuvenation. Because RETINOL. And without sun protection, we will all look like a herd of cute and smooth, but very spotted giraffes. (more…)

September Beauty Box

September Beauty Box

My kid loves beauty boxes. I love them too, but as an older and more practical lady, I know that a beautiful box filled with colorful papers that we open with trembling from excitement hands, most of the bottles will accumulate in the bathroom as useless clutter.
But the money will be spent, while you could buy something actually useful and really cool with it.

So the kid and I started a tradition – I put together a monthly beauty box for her. (more…)

Innisfree No sebum powder cream review

Innisfree No sebum powder cream review

I have a combination skin with oily t-zone, which loves to shine by lunchtime. My nose could get so dry that it flakes, or shine like an oily skillet. I’m (almost) 28, have freckles, and very fair skin. Naturally, I have pores, but without any big issues.
Recently I have started to experiment with tubed and cushioned BB creams, and they pretty much require a primer, otherwise they fall into the pores.
Ladies, this cream by Korean brand Innisfree is a real miracle. (more…)

50 is the new… GINSENG!

50 is the new… GINSENG!

I don’t like the saying comparing women to berries. Let’s imagine how quickly berries wilt and shrivel. But the ginseng root doesn’t shrivel. It doesn’t really change much, maintaining its healing properties.
Especially if the ginseng is fermented, with gold and a whole “army” of skin-rejuvenating components. (more…)
